Thank you to El Buen Gusto

Waukegan Main Street was very sorry to learn this morning that El Buen Gusto Panaderia Bakery closed its doors after thirty years at 32 N. Genesee Street.  The family business was a longtime supporter of our downtown neighborhood and will be strongly missed in the community.

El Buen Gusto bakery was the best bakery ever. Their bread was so good and their service was great.Everytime I would walk in their to get bread the owner or manageer always said hello and was so warm and it felt like they were family for all the years they were there. Its so sad it closed because their will neveer be a bakery like this one ever.

My family and I were also sorry to learn that El Buen Gusto Panaderia had forever shut its doors. My thanks to Elias and his family for the many years of delectable pastries and exceptional customer service. Their goodies and smiling faces are truly missed.
