Greetings from downtown Waukegan!

Whether you've lived here your whole life, are new to the area and are looking for great places to have fun, or are interested in locating your business downtown, the Waukegan Main Street community welcomes you. Our neighborhood has some of the best restaurants and shops you'll find anywhere, not to mention being just a few blocks from the train station and beautiful Lake Michigan. Check out our directory page for places to visit, or give me a call and I'll personally take you on a tour of Genesee Street! Did you know we have some awesome bakeries, a piano store, a pizza place, coffee shops with live music, a bar with a pool table and another with open mic night, trendy boutiques, a florist, the world's first Ace Hardware, a shoe store, a cool consignment shop, and much, much more all within a few blocks? You've got to come to our neighborhood and see it for yourself.

Now is the time to be in downtown Waukegan. Things are really happening here, and we want you to be a part of the action. I firmly believe that real progress is made only when a community truly commits to seeing it through. That is why we need you to be part of the Waukegan Main Street family.
